Crab Walk Exercise For Help With Low Back Pain

About 6 months ago I was running really well. I’d got to 10km in my training and really happy with the pace I was setting (about 4.50/k pace) and them my knee blew up. Ahhhrgggrhhhh!

From then it was a constant battle to get any runs in without my leg tightening, pulling on my knee and blowing up again and again.

WHY?????

I finally found the solution, it was because my Glutes were weak. So I started strengthening them using this exercise called the Crab Walk and I’ve been good since then.

Give it go and let me know about the BURN you get in the glutes.

My Favourite Exercise For People With Lower Back Pain

I'm often asked which exercises should be done by people who have been seeing me for Low back pain.

I share my favourite exercise for the lower back.

This is not an exercise for someone who is in acute pain and is finding it hard to move. This is for someone who wants to start to strengthen their lower back and regain proper control of the muscles and supporting structures.

This exercise is best done in conjunction with a proper care plan by your Chiropractor. I'd love to know how you go. Remember slow and controlled is better.

The Best Exercise For People Who Sit Too Much

You may or may not have heard the saying "Sitting is the new smoking!" - where that a saying comes from is from the research that shows that sitting for long periods has a HUGE detrimental affect on our health.

What can we do? We have to sit to do our job. We have to sit to drive the car. Sometimes it's unavoidable.

If you find yourself having to sit for hours during the day - this one excise can help to minimise the damaging effects.

Give it a try for 3-5 minutes every day (twice if you can) and you'll be amazed at the effects physically and mentally.

I'd love to know how you go.
